CHASSIS:

Stock snout with 5" springs 2600 lbs

Tubular Snouts with 5" springs 2650 lbs

Tubular Snouts with coilovers 2675 lbs

All weight after the race

Fabricated spindles permitted

Tubular sway bar and spline bar permitted

ENGINE RULES:

Cast iron block only

23 degree cast iron heads only

Any intake

No electric fuel pumps

Engine compression cubic inch not limited

Gasoline only

Dry sumps (50 lbs penalty)

One carburetor (any size)

CLUTCH AND TRANSMISSION:

Must have forward and reverse gears.

HUBS, WHEELS, TIRES, BRAKES, and REAR END:

Quick change permitted

Steel and aluminum axle tubes permitted

Aluminum hubs permitted

10" steel wheels only (Any offset)

SHOCKS AND SPRINGS:

No bump stops or coil binding

No schrader valves or needle valves

No single adjustable or double adjustable shocks

Shock claim rule: $400 total (all 4 shocks may be claimed) or may claim 2 shocks (Front $200 or Rear $200)

FUEL CELL:

Fuel cell mandatory

8" minimum ground clearance

Steel container with 2 top straps

Fuel cell guard

BODY RULES

Old style late model bodies may run.

A measurement between 79" and 80" width over front tires, steadily decreasing in width in a straight line to between 77" and 78" at center of doors, then to 76" at the center or rear axle, to a maximum of 72" at the rear spoiler. Spoiler must be mounted center red on wheel base of car. A measurement between 78" and 82" is allowed at the bottom of the door between front and rear tires on Outlaw bodies.

SPOILER:

1. 72" Maximum width

2. 46" Maxiumum set back, both left and right side (center or rear axle to base)

3. 6" maxiumum height from base to top

4. 40" high from ground

HOOD AND ROOF

1. Manufactured type, no homemade or flat surface roofs allowed.

2. 45" Minimum width side-toside

3. 12" Minimum window opening. Driver must be able to exit car with helmet on. Window must be open from 4" shelf to roof.
